I like my fish in little shoals of 4 to 6 fish, I think some of the fish prefer it that way too. Maybe you could get some more of what you've got rather than having mainly individuals. I've got a pair of angels and its great the way they stick together in the tank. They've laid eggs too. :)

I didn't know you were supposed to feed the algae wafers at night. I've got a sailfin plec who is 8 inches long. When I feed the fish (flake for the angels, tetras etc and an algae wafer for the plec) he goes straight to it and munches away until its all gone.

I had some barbs with zebra danios and it wasn't a problem but the barbs had to go when they started persecuting my angels. Some books say if you keep 9 or 10 barbs its not a problem because they fight amongst themselves and leave the other fish alone. I had 9 but it didn't work in my tank...
