I bought a 90 gallon tank last week from petco...I went to my local exotic store and get 60 pounds of live sand and 30 pounds of regular sand....I had a magnum 350 filter but I didnt like it so I took it back and bought a cascade 1000...I really like this filter much better as it seems to run...

I originially had a magnum 350 on mine and I hated it...I took it back to petco and got the cascade 1000 yesterday (Have a 90 gallon tank)...so far I really like the cascade it is super quite and it comes with a spray bar that evens out the output flow...the bad thing is it only does like 265...

well my magnum filter came apart while cleaning...so now i have to go get something else first thing tomorrow morning and take the magnum 350 back, i wasnt happy with it anyways....what should i get? power head/filter...??

I have a magnum 350 filter...my friend is is somewhat experience with saltwater tanks mentioned most users use powerheads that move the water around...not real familiar with what he is talkin about....he said I shoudl buy a set of Koralia 3 or Koralia 4 powerheads. Would I use my current filter...

I bought 60 pounds of live sand and put it in there (said you didnt have to rinse it). Then 30 pounds of regular sand....i forgot to rense the regular sand so that could be it...will it eventually stop? only place you can see a big problem is around the area were the filter spits the water back...

I got a 90 gallon aquarium brand new never used. Filled her up with salt water, I mixed the salt myself (was hard to get it to dissolve, and I could not fully get the salt to dissolve) and poured it into my tank....The water was very cloudy the first 24 hours and it seems my filter has cleaned...
