I bought some purigen to use in my XP3 and i was wondering if it is ok to use womans stockings as a bag to put it in. I tried a regular bag but the holes are to big and the purigen made a mess on my floor.

When i turn off my lights at night my ph reads 8.6 but before they go on it reads 8.3 Is 8.6 to high?

I have not used copper and dont plan too. I am right now using paraguard daily with a 5 gallon water change between doses. i think i may give this a try because my fish is looking a little better. I have heard mixed feelings about this stuff. he is in a 35 gallon QT

I have just bought a fish from the LFS and it is in my QT which it now has ich. I was treating with Paraguard but want to try Hypo. If i add copper how long do i have to wait till the meds are removed to begin Hyposalinity, or can i run carbon during hypo.

I left my tank for a couple of days just recently and the only think i would be concerned about is topping of the tank. You could purchase an automatic top off machine. I know my tank evaporates quickly so im not sure if you would have the same problem.
