I've been watching them more and I think I have 2 girls. And 4 boys. I didn't know till now I thought they were all males I will be seperating them though. I don't have a set up for eggs yet.

Well mom changed her mind she doesn't want a permanent fish tank in the room that will soon be an office :/ I'm going to get a 75 gallon for them tomorrow. And now my 5males are chasing my female. Poor girl.

I'm 18. But I don't graduate till the end of this coming school year. And I'm really dedicated to my fish. I've grown up with betas, moved to guppies and gold fish. And on the building part my family makes and builds thing for a living.

I live in Nebraska it blizzards here at least once a winter. Some one in town had a pond but the stray cats ate them all. She's only a couple blocks away from here. And a guy had his tank in the garage his tank froze solid last winter.

I get the name/gender thing all the time its ok. But the tank will be against a wall were the suports to the house are, so I'm really not worried.

I can't do a pond because of the loose cats and dogs around town my fish would be eaten. And in winter they'd still need to come inside.

Ok I think ill just make it a 135 gallon, and make a new stand. But ill make it 2' wide and ajust the length and hight acording. And I'm a she not a he by the way .......

Ok. Between us three kids (at my place) we have three dressers if put to gether would hold a 6' by 2' tank. But would they be stronge enough to hold the 135 gallons? They are made of composite wood(compressed woodchips and glue, like school desks)

If I do it 1'w 3'h and 6'L it will be 135 gallons. I think that's what I will do. Thank you for the help!

Ok well I can put my three stands together to make a 6'2" stand it would still be the same width. And with 1 2 or 3 foot high side what would be the gallons to those?

The stand I have to put it on is 3'5" by 1'2" how high would I need it to be then?

In my area its extremly expensive and but buying the glass sheets and other supplies with be cheeper and the nearest plast to get that size of tank is 4 hours away.

Also I would love to know recomended sizes to make the tank in FTxFT because I don't know how many gallons to a foot. I have no clue on how to find that out. And I would love to know the size and brand of filter and number of filters for a large tank. Thank you so much.
