Could I just go out to a field...find 100 pounds of rock (cool looking of course), clean it up and mix it with 50 pounds of live rock? Will that dry rock turn into live rock during the cycle? It's just a hard pill to swallow when they want 3.00 bucks a pound for dry rock!!!!

I am in the process of setting up a 100 gallon corner tank. I wanna put a couple of PH's in the tank, but not sure what size PH I should get. All the PH I have found are for 100 gallon, long, tank. Do I still use that PH, even though my tank isn't a long tank? The back wall length is 34.5...

Help!!!! I have very very minor scratches on the front of my glass aquarium. So minor you can't even feel them with your finger nail, but the water amplifies them and is driving me nuts! Any help will be appreciated. Andrew
