    Injecting CO2 into the filter intake

    I have DIY CO2 system that goes thru a fine airstone into the intake of an Aquaclear70. Are there any pro's or con's to doing it this way? Any thoughts?

    Newby has planted tank questions..

    It is a 30 gallon tank with DIY Co2 and (3) 6500k 60w equivalent CFL bulbs. The bulbs are mounted vertically. The substrate is sand. Can you please tell me if is enough/not enough light and what kind of plants these are. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

    CFL Overkil

    I have a 30g planted tank with a couple of fish (2 juv oscars, 1 juv pleco) and just built my one hood. I have 3 60w cfl's in the hood. The tank looks great under the new light but is it to much?
