I'm curious to know everyones thoughts on my idea. I have an Undergravel filter with Crushed Coral Subtrate. I was curious has anyone every attempted adding an additional layer of Live Sand on top of the Crushed Coral? Any advantages or disadvantages that anyone can think of?

I have since decided to heed the warnings for possible dangers down the road with using Crushed Coral for my substrate. Can anyone please advise me on the steps that are needed to relayer my tanks substrate with Live Sand instead of Crushed Coral? You advice as always is very appreciated.
