Left for a week for vacation, came back to this stuff all over all of the plants. What is it and how do I get rid of it? :facepalm:

Oh, I'm not looking to breed them. I just want a few in each of my tanks. :) Was hoping someone here that breeds them would see this and hook me up with a bunch for a decent price. I'll always favor spending my money here rather than a LFS if I can.

Anyone here raise & sell these awesome little fellas? They are really difficult to find here in my area for some reason, and when I do, they want like $4+ bucks a piece for them.. Wanting to see about buying a couple dozen of them to scatter around my 8 tanks. Let me know!

Been meaning to look into fert tabs. How do they work? In a typical 36" aquarium that's moderately planted from one end to the other, how do you know where to place the tabs? One per plant? One every so many inches? One simply per tank? How deep do you put them? How far from the plant(s)? And...

/Blush I'm actually right at the edge of rebuilding a 29gal tall. Lady is enroute to pickup the remainder of my Convict Cichlid babies. Because it had Cichlids, I don't have any real plants in it(Since they dig everything up and make a mess!) So this timing couldn't have been better! Should...

You know me... I'm ALWAYS looking for more plants. Heck, I've put up new tanks JUST to take in more plants. Yes, I know I have a problem.... :(

Thanks! Quite a few of the plants and the shrimp came from PoppaRyno. Have ordered a few things from him over the months and never been disappointed. I wanna say I started with about 3 dozen or so, and now.... well... :) So, a new question. Puffers. I've heard they make AWESOME snail hunters...

Those little white rocks on the sand? Just various chunks of cuttlebone scattered around the tank for them.

Terrible pics, but here's a full shot of the tank, and a close-up of some of the shrimp. This isn't even during a feeding. This is just a jumble of them sitting there hanging out.

Just a estimation! Basically, when I toss some sinkers in there and the horde descends upon it, it looks to be WELL over 100. And that's just the ones that come running out. I'm certain there are a ton that I still don't see lurking up in the rocks, plants, wood, etc. This is the tank sitting...

The RCS tank(30 long) I started up a couple months ago has since exploded!! I would guestimate there to be probably 100-150 shrimp running rampant in there, swimming all over. 75% of them are juvies that I never even realized were in there until recently, when I removed all the baby swordtails...

$50 shipped to 75088? If so, I'll pay for it now & take it whenever you're ready.

Love this stuff. Has easily become one of my favorite plants. Seems to grow really, really well in the 3 tanks I've put it in. Propagates quickly and easily too.

Well, haven't seen any breeding, eggs, tiny baby shrimps. I've had a few of the juvie Mollies in there with them for a while now and they seem to be surviving. Couple new revelations though on these shrimp... #1 - When I put flakes in to feed the mollies, all the shrimp swim around with them...

You talking about the Axolotl's? We have two of those in a 75gal in the bedroom. They've never tried to crawl out of the tank to my knowledge. And that tank is chock-full of small tank-mates that they have yet to try to eat. Let's see.... that tank currently houses: 4x Cory cats 2x Clown Loaches...
