    in all seriousness last night when I was getting shocked I actually had a scratch on my thumb that was fresh and hurt when I put it in the water....if all of your equipment is off and unplugged then double check and make sure nothing else is touching it.

    It's funny I thought the same thing about getting shocked from my tank last night. I asked my girlfriend to stick her finger in without telling her why but she didn't feel anything. Once I told her I definitely felt a sting across my face
