I have ordered a test kit on Amazon it will be here tomorrow and I will immediately announce the water parameters.

TANK SIZE: 10 gal MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE: 50% once a week TEMP: 80 F I will probably get a Test Kit and possibly later today I will go to the LFS.

I will get a test kit as soon as possible and as soon as I took him out of the the tank I did a 90% water change. I'm actually thinking about doing a restart or the nitrogen cycle in there. But, I'm not sure what I would do with the other frog.

I don't have a test kit. What should I do?

Do you treat the water that you put into the tank with chlorinator/heavy metal remover? Otherwise it might be high chlorine levels or high copper levels.

I'm sad to say that he has died and I am thinking that there was a nitrate spike in the tank which is the cause of my bacterial bloom that is still happening a water change will be done momentarily.

My Golden Comet Swordtail which was in with 3 ADFs, a Golden Mystery Snail, and pond snails. It is also planted and for the past few hours he has been swimming through the plants and sitting on the gravel. I have now quarantined him into a 2 gallon bowl.:nono: Bye the way pictures coming soon.

I'm thinking that I will try to breed some Red Cherry Shrimp in my 3 gallon. How many should I get? What should I feed them? Should I get plants? What should the substrate be? I will definitely put moss balls in. Also, what else do I need to know.

I actually don't have any shrimp just would like to set up my 3 gallon for a few and maybe even a 10 gallon. But, my ADFs still don't know what to think of them :D.

A good possibility is moss balls they are a good food source for the shrimp as the little particles that they eat go onto the balls and they just eat right off of it. I bought some on ebay at this excellent eBay site they arrived today and it fits nice in the tank. Here is an article of why...

Solution? Should I just keep on doing water changes? I think that the water change helped. Is it okay to do another one today?

I did a 60% water change yesterday and I'm thinking that it helped. If it didn't I'm going to do another water change tomorrow. If I'm doing it totally wrong can someone please tell me. Sorry I'm new to this kind of stuff.
