P.S. How do you like your Rena Cal heaters? I had them in the past and I wasn't very pleased....they were always off by 3-5 degrees. Well my temps are only about .5degrees off. They seem good. This is my second pair though. Check out my thread about the first batch of "exploding" ones...

It can be good. I'd say you have a 50/50 chance of it working based on my experience and the opinion of most people here. The main thing is that it must have been kept cold from the time it was made until the time it reaches your tank.
