    Thanks. PH was just about 6 today. I actually kind of like the idea of prepping and treating water ahead of time. Is there a "best" product to use for that?

    Thank you! I'll wait until tomorrow and test again before messing with it more. One of my snails is peeking out of his shell, so I'm taking that as a good sign for now. I should have come here sooner. I wish I could have a do-over with advice from the start.
