i am looking for a small led light for my 3 gallon betta tank. the tank has a solid black lid so i can't use one of the clip on the tank kind. i need something that can be fastened to the top of the lid. the tank came with a blue led (glofish tank) but i can't see my betta with this light on...

i am starting up a second tank in my home and i took a sponge out of my established aquarium last night and put in my new filter. my question is if I don't put fish in the new tank right away will the beneficial bacteria on the sponge die without new ammonia to feed it?

so i bought 2 live plants yesterday from pet supermarket. these were live plants from a tank mind you not the type in the snail free tube. anyways this morning i see i have a tiny little snail crawling up the side of my tank. should i be concerned or should i just let it live in there?
