We had a power pole get hit by a truck down the block. Although the UPS helped out, it was down too long and we lost our Flame Angel. The fish started to crash and once it got too low in the tank, our two large hermit crabs got it. :cry: At least it didnt go to waste?

I have a 24" light over my sump with a standard bulb in it, but Im sure I need better light than that. I want to allow all of the Chaeto and Pods to grow well in there. What kind of light is suggested?

It has been up sinc December and seems to be doing OK for now. I havent had too many fatalities and most of those were small condis or a hermit crab or snail.

Thanks to Fishfreak, I wil have a new 75 gal reef tank. We worked out the deal the other day and I cant wait to get it set up. I guess the move will be a long day, but, oh well, after it is said and done, WOW! It has some really cool corals and LR in it, as well as some great fish too.

I just added a long tentacles anemone and now one of my condis is dead and a feather duster is gone too. Did I do something wrong?

Everyone is saying to go with MH lighting. I have a PC light and I am getting about 3-4 WPG right now. I also have a wave action with different power heads(My Gorgonian loves it). Is it really nessessary for all corals to have a MH lighting system?

I noticed that around here many people use abbreviations for many of the terms. While Im only moderately stupid and can figure out a lot of them, I wonder if anyone ever thought to put a glossary or something up with all of the abbreviations in it?
