I have seen tanks plumped several ways. spray bars, returns at the top, and having several returns kind of acting as powerheads coming from under the sand. Was curious if there was any specific reason or benifits for any or if it was all just preference.

I keep noticing a small "tentacle like" thing reaching out of my rock. i looked closer today and got a better view. it is white and has appendages sticking out from it all down each side. any ideas?? spaghetti worm mabye?

my skimmer isnt producing bubbles unless the pump is completely open, but when the pump is fully open too mutch water enters the skimmer, any one else had this problem or know how to fix it?
