I have 3 out of my 6 emerald cory have missing barbells and white on the front fins? I think they are fins. I have included a picture, its kinda hard to see but there is a white spot and the other side looks worse. Any idea what it is?

I just started and went with a 55gal. So far it has been enjoyable for me and my son. Just be patient with the cycle. There is some really good advice on this forum and using the guide I found to cycle really helped and within 35days we were stocking the tank.

I would take ScotJudd advice. It doesn't sound like your tank is cycled. You should have Nitrates in the water. I have heard most people say to keep them under 40ppm unless you add sensitive fish that number would be much lower. If all you have is Neons with a cycled tank, you shouldn't have any...

Here is a video of earlier. The aggressive one just followed the other one around. Not sure how they are supposed to act. Some times they leave each other alone, some times he nips and other times this until he goes back to his hiding place.

I posted two soon. The lighter colored DG started chasing and pecking at the darker one. The darker one swims off but comes back and the process repeats. Sometimes the lighter one will charge. Is this something that will remain constant because the lighter one is more aggressive?

Your nitrites look elevated. It's hard to tell from the pictures but it looks dark blue, not a light color. The ammonia is also elevated. Also what's the temp?
