Water usually green and can't see anything. Did a 50 percent water change yesterday

I have a fluval fresh and plant 2 light full spectrum. Lights on for 8 hours. I believe I have green algae.no window. Plants look well. Not feeding too much. Had a San Juan catfish die and decompose in tank.

I need advice on what to do to get rid of a water algae bloom in a 20 gallon fresh water planted tank. I have been doing water changes twice a week for the last 3 weeks and dosing with flourish excel. I believe the bloom was due to a hidden dead fish.

I personally don't think it matters. I have three different colors of Danio Glofish in my tank and they school together.

I also think it is a Flying Fox. I have one in my tank.

Not to sure about this one. I know that LED is going to last you longer and is going to run up the electric bill less.

Well as long as you test the water and the strip or test kit shows there is no chlorine then you should be good to go. I let mine sit in a bucket in the tub.
