i bought a huge tank (dimensions are 72 1/2 X 24 1/2 X 30 1/4 od) and was told it is a 225 gal. i am trying to figure out it's true size. i visited all glass' website and all they have listed at most is a 210 gal, with dimensions at 72 1/2 X 24 1/2 X 29 5/8...

as did i rok, it killed all my plants, and at the same time, used it in a tank with artificial plants....in that tank, my nitrate levels only dropped .001 ppm, so to me, it's not worth it!

there are deifinitely threads on your faucet, don't return it yet......most likely, if you can't see them from the outside, then they are inside.........did you have to take anything off first? if you did, then there are your threads, if not, then you are a wimp (jj)!! take a towel and wrap it...

thanks for your replies guys...yes, she is 3 feet long, i've had her for about 7 years......my main concern is when i "scoop" her up, she is going to go bezerk!!! even if i get a sling, she will still reek havoc. i do like the sling idea though, but not quite sure how to filtrate her...

okay guys, thanks to you, i have the proper filtration on my 3' long arrowana's tank...now, the time has come to move her....any suggestions??? my major concern, of course, is her damaging herself and/or going into shock...i can't even begin to think of what to put her in...walmart sells...

man, i;m no expert, but i too have done fish for many years without proper filtration, etc...and thought everything was going okay. some of my tanks have been setup up for 5 + years with no "problems." i never tested the quality, just changed filters, etc...everything was okay, breeding, fish...
