I did not bother putting fertilizer since I saw the following week they were getting better.

Now they're all turning yellow and looks like they're not getting any better....

I think the cause might also be my filter that stopped like maybe for a week? But the water went cloudy in a day since I always look at my tank and never suspected that the filter wasn't running. Only the time when i saw the fishes were like floating....

I think i just made a big mistake. Doing water change of almost 100 and cleaned my filter.... question now is will they all die ?

Now my plants ang dying ..... it all started when the filter stopped i think not knowing it was not running for a couple of days maybe? Then it led to this .... now i flushed out the water cleaned my filter hoping it will recover

Pressurized Co2 would still be the same ever since tank setup.

Hi Guys, Need help! I recently added 25 neon tetras in my tank and after a week or 2 some of my monte carlos turned brown. I don't know whats causing my monte carlo to turn brown and melt? So far all I did was to put in some fish and before Introduced my fishes to the tank filled with healthy...

And now my tank after 8 months. Newest addition the fishes. Still wondering if I should trim my plants or not. Any Ideas?

Thanks! Aluk3s.... i reAlly don't know what to do next. I almost lost hope 2 months ago bec of all the algae then after caliban07 told me to increase outflow, then there yah go. Whew everything started to grow and black algae faded.

Should I trim or wait till until the entire thing gets covered ?

My Tank :) 4-5 months and counting for mc's to cover everything. Can't wait!

Thanks Cali! Increased the outflow and haven't used excel for quite some time now. I think it worked. No more algae, except inside my tubes which i don't know why?

After 4-5 months, landscape changed a lot. Waiting for everything to get covered by mc's. What's next? To trip or jot to trim yet? Any advice ?

Thanks cali btw, I'm free of algae even without excel. Just increased the water outflow then made everything alright.
