I would move one of the main rock structures in about a third of the tank. This would make it look similar to a hill and allow more interesting arrangements of plants as more area is exposed

I definitely agree with you one hundred percent, but I tend to find that the babies grow much more resistant health in the long run although they do not grow at a fast speed

From my experience, leaving the fry in a 50 gal tank with a lot of java moss is just fine. They can easily reach 1 inch without feeding and when u put guppy fry in they Learn to eat flake food

I HAVE FOUND IT. Through intense research I have concluded that it is a silver tip tertra. They're apparently kinda hard to find in this region and to get one for free is just lucky. Thanks for the help guys

From what I can find it is not a penguin tertra. The pattern on the finnage is not quite the same.

They are definitely males. The huge anal fin compared to the females are obvious. Cos the male carries the eggs in the fin and the female's has to be small to allow the male to reach the eggs

For schooling I would recommend mannequins or black tetras. They school well and their simple colours don't distract you away from a centre fish. They also occupy the middle section of the tank making them eye pleasing. I would personally say that a Berta fish would be an excellent centre fish...

The bottom one does not appear to be pregnant. If it were, a very dark spot would appeal above the anal fin, making the fish look "full" so to speak

Also, this spawn breeding took place over the course of just a week, as the two betas were extremely calm to one another and were already showing the signs of acceptance to one another
