Does anyone here have any experience or tips for breeding kribs? Stuff like how to get them to pair off and ideal spawning conditions is helpful. I am about to get 5 or 6 for my 29 gal. and breeding them seems like a fun new challenge. Thanks for any help!

The scales seem too big to be a red tailed shark. I think it is probably a pink or red tail chalceus.

Cories are pretty easy fish. They do well in schools of 5 or more. They also like hiding places. For some reason I ended up putting my cory in my arowana cichlids tank. He's been living in that tank for 4 years now without being eaten or dying from stress. I wouldn't do that again though. Sad...

I looked at a lot of pictures of the types of corydoras and these seem to be San Juan. I just can't find any pictures of them with the black band on the eyes. Sorry.

I would recommend leaving the tetras you have in there if they seem to be doing well. It is normal for some tetras to die when they are brought home because of the stress. It is sad but it's common in aquariums. If your kids get really sad when the fish die, I would recommend buying some guppies...
