Also, the picture of the tank alone was from a few days before I got the fish. They went in at 76 and I stabilized it at 75.

I turned off my heater and dropped the temp as soon as I got them to the tank. I'm planning on keeping it at 75. Is that an okay temp?

Those snails look awesome! I'm planning on starting with 5 RCS and seeing what the betta thinks of them.. If they disappear I'm not going to add more. Maybe I'd do more snails haha

What other stocking suggestions do you guys have? I know that people have had success with having 2-3 corys together, but I do understand that it isn't ideal.

Yeah I've considered the size a few times.. But my plan is to just monitor them closely and move them to another tank of need be.

It's only 5 gallons, so I'll only have 2-3 corys in it. I'm going to do panda corys unless someone gives me a good reason not to. I'm also not against changing the substrate if I see and damage to the corys.
