    I feed all my fishes every alternate day, its easy for the filter and gives time for the fish to digest their food properly.

    Pleco is NOT eating algea anymore!

    Common pleco will start to be "lazy" and stop eating the algae in the tank as they grow bigger, not unless there's no food around until he has reason to do that.

    Plecos and brackish tanks

    I dont think its a good match. Plecos are never meant for brackish water.

    Wood is a must as part of the royal's diet. Their diet are mainly green and larger ones are more aggressive especially towards their own species.

    Heavy breathing suggest something wrong with the water. Do a water change immediately!
