Yes I have witnessed it and but since I cut the piece that the LPS was attacking they have no been touching so I assume that's why it hasn't completely died off. Will replace ing the activated carbon reduce the chemicals produced by the candy cane or GSP?
So far I haven't seen any major swings in my journal but I do know that it was fighting a bit with the Green star polyps and candy cane coral. I cut the peices that were close to both but other then that I don't know what else might have caused it
Hey guys my Coral started to lose its color and I can't tell if it is bleached or experiencing STN/RTN. My parameters are in the picture and so are some images of the coral. Algea seems to be growing on top of it but I still see the purple polyps of the coral. I hope I can do something before I...
I recently noticed a small hole in my clams mantle in between the siphon and slit. This does not seem normal. All my water parameters are perfect and there is not anything in my tank that likes to pick at the mantle, the only thing I can think of maybe the turbo snail that sometimes moves over...
Yes so I ended up returning the maroon but instead got a black ocallaris so after they did there pairing ritual they are swimming peacfully with each other
Hey guys I just bought a new Gold lightning Maroon clownfish becuase I saw him mixed with some ocellaris at the store. I know they have a reputation of being the most aggresive clowns but when I put the bag into my tank my smaller ocellaris went straight after looking for a fight. Was he...
So ive been waving more water over it for some time and have even used my finger to brush off some of the algea but non of the polyps seem to come out ever
So it has been over a week now and I have been trying to bring my leather coral back to good health since the polyps havent been popping up lately but nothing has changed and now my zoanthid corals are looking pretty unhealthy when i came back home

I bought a Candy cane coral recently and wanted to know if it was normal for the polyp to look like this. I dont know if they should be more out then this.

I will continue to do that then but i also want to figure out a method to catch the other small fish becuase i have a heavilg planted tank and everytime i use a net i juat cant get them out
So I have had a problem with some neon tetras becoking aggresive and ive been working on trying to isolate them becuase they have been nipping everyone in the tank but they are fast and are alot harder to catch then a betta. So i decided to fish the betta out first becuase he had some of his...
I can try to rehome the neons but I only have my qt tank and unfortunately for the banded barb i havent been able to find any more to increase the school size.
Update on the neon school its now down to 6. I don’t know where he is. I’m checking all possible locations and he wasn’t there so now I can only assume that someone may have killed it, either another neon or the african banded barb did it.
I have 7 neons right now. I had more before but due to ich I lost 4 and I have a 20g tank with other fish as well. I’m worried that I may be overstocking if I get more neons
