Hey guys wanted to update you on the progress.
So for my betta (5 gallon tank) its been 6 days I have not done any water change since adding the coppersafe, ive been feeding once a day and making sure nothing gets on the floor, and i have not wiped off the white fungus off the glass. It seems...
Hey guys
Has any one seen any changes at all? Im on day 4 and nothign really different. I left the white stuff on to see if they go away but some look like they are happy and thriving :'(
If I'm correct I've heard that if u turn off your filter too long it will kill the beneficial bacteria in the filter as it needs running water. And also u can just do a partial water change without vaccumming. If it's too clean it not letting the tank to catch up with bacteria that eats...
Okay yah. That's what I thought. But the instructions also said if ur carbon is 6 days old then u can keep it in... But if u said it was more effective without the carbon I'll do it that way
Im not saying she has to go through the whole 6 week cycle. but I know it wont be a reliable source and she will need to check the ammonia levels. thats all the cycle should be back in 2 or 3 days.. I have done the same exact thing before.
Hey Ephy,
So since you boiled everything you practically recycled your tank, so your gonna have to watch you water to make sure it doesnt look like crap. When I had fin rot on my betta it healed naturally with small every other day 10% water change and minimal feeding to make sure none of the...
I know... the most frustrating part on this journey was seeing how alot of people had this and posted it online but never really identified it or has a solution on how they got rid of it. Hopefully we will be able to finally find a solution for all those people out the struggling with this criter
Yah I totally understand how you feel... It drives me insane because u can't just leave it either cause then it grows out of hand and causing the water to be low quality and there that's when the fish are affected.
My main tank is 30 gallons and the flow is calm with the spray bar and is adjusted to keep the fish from flying everywhere. While I understand that we should be replicating the natural environment for these fish, I'm sure that a strong filter that keeps the tank super clean is not the cause of...
I feed them twice a day... I know I have a heavy hand when I feed and ive been doing alot better with the feeding. I think that's why in my main tank it hasn't been regrowing as much but still there... but I stoped feeding the betta tank for 3 days and it's still there so although over feeding...
So this stuff was on my tank before any meds.
I did the traditional stuff where I scraped it off the tank and dis a water change for a whole month.... it still came back..... also I even removed the fish and boiled the tank, gravel, and deco and recycled the tank. I guess some still...
I used aquarium salt too. It didn't do anyrhing. I think the copersafe will be the best... I mean something has to kill this thing lol....
Seriously bleaching is the last thing I wanna do
Looks pretty similar to what I have. They look like feathers right?
Right now I treated my betta tank with furan 2 cause I thought it was a fungus and the some of them looked like it died (As in the feathery head disappeared and only the body stayed on the glass) I'm gonna run my carbon tonight...
Yah I know over dosing is deadly so I'm thinking since the dosage is by 4gallons. I'll just do it by 4 gallons and not to 5 gallons... (my betta has 5 gallons)
My main tank has a little bit too but it can totally get out of hand like crazy...
Did u scrape the white stuff off after or did it...
