Hello I was going to buy a 55 gallon tank and wanted to know what to put in it. I want African Cichlids but I need to know what species and how many to get.

I am going to get a 40 gallon tank and want to know what cichlids to get and how many of each to get. I also want to know what gender and how many of each gender to get. Keep in mind that I am an intermediate fish keeper.

I am soon getting a 40 gallon aquarium and have wondered how many yellow lab cichlids I could put in it. I don't want to overstock the tank though!!!!
