I would focus on lighting first then use excel flourish which is fine for crustaceans
And if u have a lot of plants buy a c02 kit for your tAnk which is about 80$ for a decent...
Chinese algae eaters or snails or japanese algae water shrimp I use all three for my 120g but u will still have to Clean it just helps maintain. Also if u want to be lazy about it use a algae remover and vacuum up the dead algae and scrap glass

I have a few planted tanks I had some issues also when I first started but co2 is the best way to go u can buy a cheap one from fluval for 40$ and buy some fert tabs and put underneath fern to help grow and your lighting should be fine but if you want better go with led lights
I can try that and they were fry I would scoop up and put in a separate tank because Angel fish aren't really good parents after that and they would eat them
