Im trying to come up with ideas for stocking my blackwater 29g, Currently i have: 5 kuhli loaches 1 male blue gourami 5 black skirt tetras My question is would i be able to put in 5 female bettas, if this means anything my fish are relatively peaceful. If not do you guys have any suggestions?

Arent tannins good for tropical fish? Maybe not the giant amount that they release in the begining but ive heard that they are.

Hi, im going to do a rescape for my 29g, it will be planted and everything. At my lfs there is a sale going on for a bit on some decent sized mopani wood. Do any of you guys have some tips for scaping with it? I havent really used it before.

So one day ive notice this plant that is growing on my java fern. I think it is its own plant because it has its own set of roots. its right at the very front leaf.

Is this a male or female blue gourami? Im pretty sure its a male but I'd like to be for sure.

My lfs constantly has full grown common plecos going in and out. So i guess im lucky that they do.

Im not really sure what its poop looke like. I think that it might have longer and thinner poop but it may also be my khulis who do that.
