Planted Equip for sale. Getting rid of it all.

Ferts, tank, and regulator are all sold. All that's left is the light. A 20" Current USA Orbit fixture (40W dual daylight / 40W Actinic) (asking $50 plus shipping). This is a very high quality fixture. It is built for a 20" tank, but the legs extend and it could probably be used for a 24" tank...

Planted Equip for sale. Getting rid of it all.

I sold the CO2 tank locally. $65 shipped for the regulator. That is a steal compared to what you'll find it for on eBay. Remember, this is a Milwaukee MA957 CO2 Regulator with bubble counter, needle valve, and solenoid valve. One heck of a steal for $65.

Planted Equip for sale. Getting rid of it all.

The CO2 tank & regulator are still available (will do $120 shipped for both in the continental US) The Current USA Orbit light is also still available.

Planted Equip for sale. Getting rid of it all.

From 66062 to 90012 using: Priority Mail ~$17 Fedex Home Delivery ~$10 I would use Home Delivery (an offshoot of FedEx Ground). By far the cheapest, and it's still a 3 day delivery. So a shipped regulator and tank to you would be $130. The hydrotest on the aluminum CO2 tank is dated...

Planted Equip for sale. Getting rid of it all.

The ferts are spoken for pending working out shipping. The regulator is the same that you would use on any planted setup, no matter what size tank. The CO2 tank would work on any setup as well, but some would recommend a 10lb tank since that would last longer.

I would check local brew shops or welding places. Shipping to Canada will probably be cost prohibitive. I'm not sure how the hydrotest would carry over either.

Planted Equip for sale. Getting rid of it all.

Yeah, that's the same fixture (the 20" one). I'll have to check on shipping. USPS upped its rates for large boxes. This should still be considered a small box though. I'm in 66062 if you want to run a quick estimate. Not sure of the weight, I can check that tonight. If you're interested in...

Planted Equip for sale. Getting rid of it all.

A year ago when I was really into the planted tank thing, I spent a TON of money trying to get things right. I finally did and my tank was gorgeous. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to keep up with the fertilizing and pruning so that it looks good. With this setup, you can have a gorgeous...

    WTS: 90G Tank + Stand

Well I finally had the time to do a leak test this weekend. It has been full for about 24 hours now without a single drop of water spilled. My wife is starting to pester me about getting it out of the garage, so I'm going to put it on eBay if I don't have a response in the next couple of days...

    WTS: 90G Tank + Stand

Ha, I've never been to NJ. I've been really busy lately and will be out of town this weekend, so another week without a leak test. Argh.

    WTS: 90G Tank + Stand

It's only a 20 (or so) hour drive Ziggy. Are you lazy or something ;). The weather was good enough for leak testing this weekend, but I wasn't. Long weekend with a lot to do, so I didn't have a chance to get it done. Hopefully I can get to it this weekend.

Will this fit in my tank?

Shouldn't this be in the "Christmasfish's answer to everything" thread?

    Tank Stand ?

I'm going to give different advice that everyone else. I'd say build your own. If you've got a good saw (or can borrow one) and a drill, you can put a very sturdy stand together for $20-30. I built a "dual 10g stand" for $22 in materials.

    WTS: 90G Tank + Stand

As an update, I've got a couple of requests to leak test the tank. I'll be doing that as soon as it warms up enough outside so that I'm not worried about cracking the glass or having water freeze in it (it's hanging out in my garage right now). Hopefully the weather cooperates this weekend.

Injecting Co2, pH is all over the place....need help

I had this problem and killed fish by doing it incorrectly. 1) Close the needle valve all the way 2) Slowly open the regulator a little at a time until you get up to about 10-20 psi on the second gauge. Sometimes the gauge needle will stick a little bit, this can be fixed by tapping the gauge...

    New light fixture

I've got a 20" Orbit on my 10g tank. The fans are wired with the Actinic bulbs, so I usually just leave those off. They aren't extremely loud, but I don't have a canopy so they're annoying enough to keep me from using the actinics. The Orbit seems like it's pretty solid, but it is very large...

    Ferts

I've always found the dosing bottles to be very helpful if you have a fairly small tank (my 10g tank gets about 12 doses out of a 4 oz bottle). As far as ferts go, you've got what you need, but I can't find those bottles anywhere locally.

K in Mono potassium Phosphate (KH2P04)?

Potassium is one of those nutrients that is supposedly "impossible" to overdose. No test kit really required, especially if you are using EI. I dose it every other day with my Nitrates and Phosphates. The amount of Potassium in Potassium Phosphate is very low. If the only Potassium going...

    WTS: 90G Tank + Stand

I've got a 90G tank + stand that I bought last summer used, and have not had the time or money to set it up. Realistically, I probably never will have the time to do what I want with it and I've got another hobby that I'm saving up for. The tank itself is in good shape. There are no chips or...

    Best place to get Firts

You mean CSM+B right? I would suggest a bag of that too. Shipping is the most expensive part of your order, so make sure you get everything you need in one shot. Try to pick up a couple of the dosing bottles too if he has them in stock. They make dosing a lot easier.

I got one of these a while back. I really like the look, and I plan on getting more in the near future.

    BBA changing colors...

Yup, when I got my CO2 straight I did an excel "initial dose" every day for a week. The stuff never stood a chance and I haven't seen it since. Congrats, sounds like you've got it beaten.

    Where to buy nice gravel

As far as the PFS that I got goes, it was really light in color. It's more of a "computer" white if that makes sense (the color that all old pcs and monitors used to be). I can't think of anything that would be lighter in color except for white gravel (the stuff that you don't like). I also...

    Pressurized CO2 / Timer / Solenoid Set-up Questions

Glad you got yours set up right. I went by the instructions and killed all of my fish. I got a big burp that happened while I was asleep. Sure enough all of my fish were dead in the morning. It looks like you've got it set up right now. Just keep an eye on the second gauge and make sure...
