In the last week my tank has been being consumed by brown algae. As far as I can tell there is no direct sun, and plenty of o2 in the water. Any suggestions on how to help eliminate it?

Just set up my protein skimmer and when I turn it on my tank completely fills up with micro bubbles. I have tried lowering the amount of air going into the tube, but if I do that the skimmer stops creating scum into the collection cup. What can I do to stop the micro bubbles?

Another thing you could add would be a shrimp. There really good for cleaning up the tank.

I would add a pair of clown fish. Mine have a ton of personality and are really active.
