I bought freeze dried tubifex worms today and I was wondering how to preserved them . Since the last can that I bought in less than 2 month it was all dusty and smell bad . That kind of food is good? It’s good for baby bichirs?
Hi
That tank is a year old with water check every two weeks to stay on top of it . Ph a little low . Salt was added a little bit with water changes on the past but it’s been a while since the last time. It’s a albino senegal bichir
I bought a juvenile bichir around 3” . First 5 days everything was good but suddenly it died , found it floating and with red belly .
What happen with it?
Well I don’t know what I’m going to do with them but surely there’s a lot of them, their parents are gold , maybe gift them away to friends in the hobby and nearby stores. Keep you updated and thanks
I have a mystery snail eggs that hatch recently, I have them in a 2.5 gallon tank but I want to move them to a bigger tank without all the uneaten food and everything. What is the best way ?
Thanks
Hi
In this tank I have 3 mistery snails and 1 betta , it’s planted and cycle . I notice this on the edge of the tank I think is eggs from the snail. How can I save the most of them.
Already did a 20% water change from my 29 gallon tank . check if there’s any more dead fish and there’s no more. Clean the mechanical filter with the same water that I take from the tank to protect biological bacteria. Add api stress coat add salt and gonna wait . So far everything look good ...
I keep finding a dead fish per day . Using melafix for 3 days and they keep dying. Parameters are good no ammonia or nitrites or nitrates . Already remove carbon . On other tank that have same parameters they are ok.
