    WTB vale and stems

WTB valls and stems Well over Christmas while I was in China my petsitter somehow couldn't figure out how to turn the lights on (???) and I was halfway around the world where they coulld not get me... So with no lights, an overdose of excel and two weeks later I return to a tank of utter mush...

    Jimbo's Picotope!

Serious? The only reason I never had any is because they cost $16/each at my LFS and I thought that as normal

    Classic Angelfish: Where to Find?

The sliver with black stripes would be the Altum angel, and they are difficult to come by now days. The black with red eyes I dont know if I have ever seen... hmmm. You might want to try and look for private breeders though. I would think in a place like San Diego there would be quite a few.

    Live Rock From LiveAquaria

I did a few years back. It was pretty nice though I had trouble getting the coraline started, but that was not a huge issue.

    Updated 29gall planted pics

it has way to many colors, tons of red and yellows and stuff. Plus I tried flourish black (in another tank) and its a lot more black and it also helps my swords and crypts grow a lot better. The eco just seems to collect a bunch of waste and looks nasty and is hard to clean. I guess I just had a...

    Updated 29gall planted pics

Just wanted to post a quick updated picture of my 29gall planted before I leave on my two week trip to China :D (plus I just bought a tripod and like using it LOL) Also I will probably be tearing it down when I get back and trying a new substrate (really hate this eco complete, I got two bad...

    Cichlids for a 29gall?

I am sooo confused! I love shellies, but they are hard to find here :( and I am wondering, can I still have plants and stuff with shellies? It would drive me nuts to have a bare tank with only sand and shells on the bottom, with no height to it... I really like the julies, but could I have only...

    Cichlids for a 29gall?

Other than dwarfs (rams, apisto's, shellies) or kribs (already planning on them for another tank...), are their cichlids that can be kept in a 29gall? African? Malawi? Tangs? (whatever species peacocks are in)? I have read in some places a small community is ok, other not so. I know it would...

Can i keep 81" of fish in 30g aquarium? (poll)

physically you probably can, though I would not highly recommend it. If you were seeking for your fish to be happy and healthy then do not do it. Though I do not go by the inch per gallon rule, that is still a lot of fish. It would be extremely crowded and a LOT of waste. The only way I see it...

    Stocking a 20 Gallon High.

I disagree, I think a 20h is way to small for an adult angel! I had two in a 29 once when I was first starting out, and let me tell you, when they ran out of room, they got real mean, real fast! Way to small IMO, stick with the apistos or dwarf gouramies or something
