I have read that zoo's are toxic. I have heard that their toxins can kill dogs. If this is the case, how come I haven't read anything about any fish fatalities...especially the ones that nip at the zoos?

I just bought a used Coralife PC fixture with no lunar lights. How important are lunar lights? I know they now have the fixtures with lunar lights included. Has anyone installed separate lunar lights into their fixture? If so, how hard and how pricey is it?

i bought my tank and stand 3 weeks ago. it came with a filter and a heater. i haven't needed to use my heater yet, but today my water temp dropped to about 76 degrees so i plugged in my heater and set it for 79 degrees. a few hours later, i checked and my temp was at 85??? isn't it supposed...

i just wanted to know if it is necessary to top off while in the cycling stage. my tank has been cycling now for about 2 weeks and i've lost about a gallon of water. should i top it off or is it ok to just wait until my cycle finishes and do a water change?
