ive had a 4foot tank now for almost two years now, but after my filter busted on me, im having 2 restart from scratch, so whats the best way to do this, as ive still got afew living fish???? and no where 2 re home theses fish!

I have alot of hairy green algue growing on my plastic plants and its hard to remove, any ideas how 2 get rid of it?? also making the gravel green aswell, is there anything i can put in a bucket over night with the plants to remove this, as scrapping it off takes forever! help...thanks
