Does anyone know a way to tell which fry will be male? They are just under and inch long, and all of them look kind of female, with greenish yellow fins and some stripes on a gray body:

My johanni had some fry, and they are all orange/yellow. Some of them have a deeper color and some are orange and showing brownish stripes. Are these darker ones going to turn blue eventually? Or would male fry be blue right from the beginning?

I have 5 small dragonbloods, and 3 of them are a deeper orange and two are a paler pink. Would that be male and female difference or different color variations within the same species?

I'm finding saulosi to be really tricky to determine the sex. I vented these ones so now I know for sure. But I'd like to hear your guesses:
