i just bought a coralife 76002 ro/di unit with a 30 gallon res.(trash can), a float valve installed and a rio 2100. along with a bunch of hose. i paid 80.00 bucks for all of it, is that a good deal or did i get "hosed" (pardon the pun)? unfortunatley i dont know how to install any of this stuff...

you just shoot some jj into their mouths before they can close up on you and they will dissapear. i had two on a new piece of lr, i juiced them and they retracted down into the rock never to be seen again. now i use the syringe to spot feed, until i need it again.

my lfs says they have never drip acclimated ANYTHING in the last 30 years. he says they float everything. i still do a drip on more sensative pieces but it's only about an hour max. i also then float the bag and stab holes in it to allow cross flow for about 15 min. works so far...KNOCK ON WOOD.

thats how my yellow wrasse was. he has finally learned the feeding schedule and is always out around feeding time, well not always, which still makes me nervous from time to time. i doubt it's gonna starve itself to death, but if you dont feed it you surely will.
