    RO/DI water for flowerhorns

I just got an RO/DI system for my frogs but I know salt water ppl rave about it and fresh water ppl say it really helps with algae, which I have a problem with. Also my city water is crap. Ive seen people mention that if you use RO water you have to reintroduce minerals, which is fine, others...

(Again ive seen flowerhorns both with bellies and without) His gills look good as far as i can tell, red but not...

    Flowerhorn gasping mouth

Im already trying to get a system for measuring out the food really carefully for each feeding, since im worried that im overfeeding. I suppose that should help with the amonia situation. Hoping that if it is an issue with amonia toxicity though, that it isnt permanent.

    Flowerhorn gasping mouth

Hi, Im a new flowerhorn owner, ive had mine for a few months now, and hes growing nicely. Ive noticed though that he pretty much the entire time does this gasping motion with his mouth and gills. He eats great, poops a ton and is active around the aquarium. He does not seem particularly...
