    Why do my guppies sit at the top of the tank?

    Check the water temperature. If the water is too warm it holds less dissolved O2 so the fish tend to go to the top of the tank.

    Ammonia Help!!

    I haven't been keeping fish for long but my understanding is that if your tank contains ammonia then the nitrites shouldn't be at 0. That would suggest to me that the nitrogen cycle isn't established properly. Because you have fish in the tank already I think you need to use a chemical treatment...
