    I think the tank can handle the bioload, especially if it’s planted and you do large frequent H2O changes and have good filtration. . I’d go with a pair of Honey gouramis. They are beautiful, non-aggressive and will not need the high temperatures that German rams need...which will be too high...

    Honey gourami

    Enjoy your new additions! Maybe you can post a picture once they are established and coloured up. Honey gouramis are not as common as many other gouramis and are often under appreciated!

    I totally agree with the others. Having a single fish of many different species is not good for the fish and will not let you see their natural Scocial behaviours. Plus...it rarely looks good.

    Love honey gouramis! Honey’s are beautiful fish! The males can be stunning! Although they have a generally peaceful nature, the males can be somewhat territorial with each other...and the resident females. I know the males are nicer to look at, but the fewer males you have, the happier...
