Do you think I can do just one blue acara or are they better in pairs

Hi, Was just wondering if I can add a blue acara in my 45 gallon with my 2 Bolivian rams and 6 black skirt tetras? If so, do blue acara's do well being solo or should they be in pairs with other blue acaras?

Hi, So I did water changes and the ammonia is now down between .50 and 1.0 I then added more beneficial bacteria. Is it just a waiting game now?
