Bumblebee Cichlids are MEAN let me tell you! Stay away from yellow and blue vertically stripped cichlids! The one I have even bullies my 12" Oscar! It was mislabled as a Kenyi(spelling?) Cichlid but as it got bigger and the black came through a lot. That's him stealing my pleco wafer ??*♀️

If you're looking for calm\friendlier cichlids I'd go for Yellow Labs or Rusty (Copper to purple yellow fin accents). Msobo cichlid are kinda like a wild card when it comes to blue\purple colors and they don't get very large. Rusty cichlids and Msobo only get road round 4" while labs can get up...

So this guy got into a fight with another Socolof cichlid, nothing too serious just a few minor scrapes around the mouth and a slightly torn dorsal fin. This is how his wounds healed. After the initial injury I added Epson salt and did a 10% water change. I have a 150gallon so I do water changes...
