With the new light set up I know the coralline algae loves it..its getting a little out of hand but hey thats a good thing..as far as my anemone and the orange tube looking coral (i forgot the name of it) are the lights the right set up? or is it too much actinic and not enough white light?

I am looking at the 2217 Eheim classic filter here in Japan. the filter is rated at 100v 50 to 60 hertz. will the filter burn out when i go back to the states and the power there is 110v 60hertz? Some people say no because of the hertz other say yes...So I am not sure who to believe ant help...

I used the Sony cyber shot 7.2mega pixels and I set it for 2 mega pixels, i switched on the macro choice. I dont know anything about cameras, I chose this one because it was a high mega number and it looks cool (black)

went to the supermarket today here in Japan. passes by the seafood section and to my surprise they had the same kind of snails that i have in my aquarium. Now I know I have a (Turbo cornutus) or Sazae the Japanese name, maybe I'll start shopping at supermakets for my inverts instead of LFS HAHAHA.

I got this.....for 82 cents here in Japan and it looks like a giant snail but I am not sure, any ideas.there is a regular snail about 2 inches behind to the left

all test are good. the only think i could think of is that after i cleaned up i cleaned the glass with windex. i am sure there was a chance i got windex in the water. could this of caused the problem

I did a water change on FRIDAY, went to my inlaws Saturday morning, returned back Sunday night and I found 9 dead snails, dead gobie which was 10 months old. dead SPS Coral. and my Skimmer was working harder. water was a little cloudy not what im used to seeing. light timer was not working...
