Well ok so I bought betta pellets obviously but I have my betta (female) in a 1 gal. hexagon tank w/ an air pump but it doesnt seem to want to eat the pellets either. What should I do?

Well I watched him tonight and he is on his side by the tank again. His fins are ok and his color and scales are fine. His eyes looked a little bulged out for some reason. My tank has been setup for almost 7 months and my last water change was a week ago which means I am doing one today or Sunday.

No he has actually a perfectly healthy color no white patches such as ich signs none of those. Really no fast breathing. He could be ok I am thinking maybe he might have just gotten scared or something put him into a little bit of shock?

Everything was 0 the ammonia, the nitrites, and the nitrates were very low. But the other tetras are just fine and are swimming and eating. They don't even look unhealthy. I'm guessing it might have just been a sick fish to begin with.

Ok my ammonia has dropped to 0 and now the nitrites are up. Would the betta still be harmed?

I really feel bad because I admit I am one of those small tank beta owners. Would it be ok if I put my beta in my 10 gallon which is cycling right now, because it is a hardier fish and it gives him more room. Would the fish be ok?

Ok next update. The ammonia is at around 4-6 ppm as it always has been, the nitrite has rosen to 1 ppm, and the nitrates are not exactly at 5 ppm but are I am guessing around 2-3 ppm. It's week 3. Does this sound ok?
