    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

Of course. The fish have improved greatly. Frequent water changes helped, 1-2 times a day. I treated the water with Melafix for a week or so. The fish seemed more comfortable and less stressed in the tank, so I stopped using the temporary holding. I continued to check the water temperature...

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I have been updated by my friend that the fish are currently alive, and eating well.. especially the "fat orange one." All is well for now, and I will continue to come here for advice in the future.

He ate today, good sign. He is swimming as well, although weakly.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I believe that I may have to. I will have to order the clove oil, and that will give me a few more days to recognize any progress atleast.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

Unfortunately, I am now seeing fin deterioration in the sick fish. I have done a water change today, and I have been treating the water with Melafix. I will be out of town for a week. I will have to leave instructions for a friend on what to do, and hope that nothing happens when I am away. I...

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I have seen no change, good or bad. I have been using bottled water in the temp tank. I now have the water conditioner that I ordered, and Melafix.

    Tetra sick?

The parameters of the water may be the cause. It may be ammonia for example. It is important to know what behavior the fish is displaying as well. You are very unlikely to receive a diagnosis based on a photo alone. I do not believe that it would hurt to use the medication that you have. There...

    Tetra sick?

It is important to know the water conditions, because it may likely be the cause.

Very limited movement still. Whatever is wrong, it does not seem to be improving with water changes.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

Yes, I am on Amazon more than I should be. There is no pet store in town, unfortunately. I have noticed just now that he seems to be favoring one of his fins, but I see no injuries.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

It is perplexing, and stressful. I have never had it happen. It has been days now as well. I have had to order more water conditioner. Hopefully I will see improvement, because I am tired of worrying.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

The water was dechlorinated, but to a normal and necessary amount. I would not blame myself for what happened, but I know of future precautions.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I am no longer worried of what may have happened, and only concerned of what I may be able to further do to help. I am sure that there are precautions that I may be able to take in the future, to prevent that from happening again, even though it was out of my control. I had heard a...

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I have always been consistent with water changes. I do not believe that they would have adapted to poor water conditions, what I can imagine is poor atleast. The fish is alive, but there has been no change in his behavior. It has been three days.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

One of the fish has died now, so I assume the other will too. The other two are perfectly fine.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

It would be absurd to purchase 65 gallons of bottled water. The water has been tested, boiled, treated.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I am not sure what more can be done, and that is why I am asking. "Something in the water" is extremely vague.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I have done water changes, I have stated that. I have just done another 30% like two hours ago.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I have done water changes. The water has been tested and is in perfect condition. I have a carbon filter as well.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I believe that the temperature is 73% currently. It is always 70%-75%. It did drop temporarily over the night, and that is when the second fish fell sideways. The other has been clamping his fins for over two days.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I have been Googling for two days, and I have found nothing helpful at all.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I do not recall. I have tested the water, and Amonia is 0.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

No, I do not believe so. I had nothing on my hands, and used the cleaning materials that I always do. I appreciate the help. I am hoping for the best. If you have any advice or know of anyone that may be able to help, that would be very appreciated.

    Emergency! Sick goldfish.

I am aware of that. The water has been tested, treated, and dechlorinated. I have appropriately done a 30% and a 75% water change.
