    Brown soot/diatom problem

    I’m having an insane time dealing with is… my tank is not new…it’s an established 6 month tank and every other day after cleaning it I get build up badly. All my plants turn brown and only after a week it’s unbearable to look at so I change the water about 30% when diatoms appear on the sides...

    Definitely need some help with my planted tank

    I do roughly 25% water changes in a week all while adding Seachem flourish twice a week, I have 5 snails in the tank with 11 fish, and I have my light on with a timer of 8 hours but my tank and plants grow algae too fast...what am I doing wrong and what can I do to fix this issue? Thank you all
