    Green Star Polyps Spawning

Toaday I walked past my tank and saw all these pink "things" floating in the water. At first I thought my daughter threw something in the tank, but then I saw the GSPs just covered with them. I then realized the GSP were spawning. Very cool indeed. Here's a pic.

    Good Stand Alone Protein Skimmer

Although mine ( DNW-150) can be placed outside the sump, I believe the OP doesn't have a sump and wants to have the skimmer gravity fed and then use a return pump to push the water back up to the DT. Not sure how that will work. I agree with CaptainAhab, Just put a small tank under...

Nice job on the coral! :thumb: Looks like they are doing well! I love where you put the GSP. It's going to look really nice once it covers that rock completly. Thanks :pimp:

    Nitrates

How often do you do PWC's and how much? IMO, PWC are very important. It shouldn't be very hard to get the nitrates down with PWC on a regular schedule but it will take some time though.

Yeah I've been keeping an eye on those Zoas and the Ricordia right next to them. so far they seem to be shying away from each other but if the Zoas encroach any more I will have to prune them back some. I'll keep you in mind. ;)
