Got a question, I have been using cupramine in my QT tank, and the problem is with the frequent water changes (every other day or so), I never seem to get the concentrations up. If I add cupramine, can I just wait an hour or so, test and add more as needed until I reach the right concentration...

Ok so my 45 gallon has been cycling for about a week, I got around 80lbs of LR and a 4+ inch DSB. Current lighting is just a regular 18k 20w bulb. How long before I should upgrade to better lighting? Will be getting a 192 watt PC eventually. Will current light even support any growth? TIA

Added LR about a week ago to start cycle on new tank. Tested water today and found Ph to be low at 7.9, alk is around 4.5, and am wondering what could cause this? I got a PH set up to agitate the surface and 2 circulating water in the tank. Am planning on getting a Ca test kit soon.
