Thanks Deb. so you feel feel sure that it is ich after seeing the pics and not anything esle? I find it strange that none of the other fish are showing any signs of ich or disease at all. Also, Corwin is probably about 2 years old by now. what's the typical life span?

no, it doesn't look like ich. the ottos are completely fine, no white spots. i'm not sure if it's a parasite...would a parasite only affect one spot on each eye? i was wondering if it could be some sort of bacterial infection? if so, would turning up the heat make it worse??

anyone know if one can use maracyn I and parasite clear at the same time? I did only one dose of maracyn today on the 10 gallon, but after observing even more I see my fish rubbing against the tank, so probably a parasite. should I use carbon to get rid of the maracyn before using the parasite...
