My friend just recently bought an 80 gallon tank and I have been helping her with the setup/maintence and pretty much everything else. She bought a Coralife 4x96w setup that I installed in her hood for her, but after about a month, 2 of the bulbs broke, cracked the little glass piece at the...

easiest way to tell if you are overdosing iodine is a diatom bloom. if you have no diatoms, your not overdosing. Source: Anthony Calfo

    Fragging Bubble Coral

well most non branching LPS coral are hard to frag because they have one mouth, and to frag them you have to split the mouth in half, which leaves you two halves, which arent very pretty to look at, have a greater risk of getting an infection, and take a long time to grow the other half back...

    designing around a Flashlight Fish

ya after reading some on them, id do a low light tank with a lot of caves and such for them to hide. they are nocturnal so you will have to keep that in account. there is some info on the net so id read as much about them as possible before designing the tank or buying one.

What do you have in your FUGE?

i would. there is plenty of other good macro that you can use instead. as a side note, i actually grow aiptasia in mine. many people seem to think they are bad you never want them, but as long as they arent touching any coral, they are actually very good at cleaning your water.
