I walked in this morning and my cleaner shrimps skin is off!! Is this normal? the guy at my LFS didnt mention anything about this. It looks like the shrimp is ok but he shed like a snake sheds its skin. Any input?

I have a 40 gallon tank and I plan to keep fish and corals. Is an overflow 100% needed? if it is, my tank is not drilled, what model would you recommend to buy so i can hang on back of aquarium? Or should I drain my tank and drill it? tank has been up for 5 days.
